MediaCV is powered by MediaJems PR, a boutique PR agency based in the UK but servicing clients internationally. It was created by Media Jems MD Jenna Owen as a means to showcase the talent of the existing agency clients. After seeing the benefits it delivered to PR campaigns, she decided to open up MediaCV for anyone who wished to display their media profile online in a professional manner.  
MediaCV profiles are designed to help experts to display all the key information that journalists, event organisers and other interest parties may need to make an informed decision as to whether they are suitable for a particular opportunity.

Each profile can provide a unique and well-structured insight into the expertise of an individual and support a wide range of marketing and PR activities. 
Media Jems PR was founded in 2006 by Jenna Owen, a former Saatchi & Saatchi Scholarship student and First Class Honours Marketing Graduate and initially focusing on B2B PR.

Media Jems started life as a one-woman band, providing Jenna with the opportunity to continue her career whilst also raising her young children from the family home in Norfolk UK.

As Jenna’s reputation for delivering high quality, results-driven PR grew, so did her client base and less than twelve months after starting the company, she was running a fully fledged Agency with staff on payroll.

In 2008, Media Jems expanded into B2C PR and also launched a book publicity division. In 2009, the Agency added a further specialism to its bow in the form of retail trade PR and in 2010, ran its first external PR training programmes. In 2011, the Agency launched Media Jems London.

Jenna continues to manage Media Jems on a day-to-day basis and is actively involved in the strategic direction of many of the accounts, supported by a growing team of enthusiastic and motivated marketing PR and journalism professionals. The Agency has an active internship programme which continues to bring fresh young talent into the organisation.
